Shipping & Returns
At Quantum Fuel Systems, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return through our Contact Us page, with your order number and reason included. All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, and transactions are locked by our payment processor after 180 days, at which point refunds are no longer possible and store credit may only be issued in special cases. Exchanges are available but may involve additional charges, and QFS reserves the right to refuse any return or exchange that does not meet our policy. Approved returns must follow the instructions we provide, as unapproved returns will not be accepted. Once your item arrives at our facility, we process returns within 2 business days, with refunds typically completed in up to 10 business days depending on your payment method. If you do not see your refund within that window, contact your financial institution first, especially if the original account has been closed. QFS does not issue refund checks, but PayPal may be used as an alternative if all other options have been exhausted. Please note that QFS is not responsible for repair, towing, or storage costs related to a failed part.
Quantum Fuel Systems offers free shipping on U.S. orders over $70, with the shipping method determined by the weight and quantity of items in your order. Standard U.S. delivery takes 2 to 7 business days, while international orders typically arrive in 7 to 10 business days depending on the customs process in your destination country. Any applicable shipping fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout, and delivery times may vary based on your location and the time of year. Once your order is placed and processed, Quantum Fuel Systems will send a confirmation email with your order details, and any order placed before 2:00 PM PST ships the same day. After your order ships, you will receive a shipment confirmation email containing a tracking number and a link to our tracking page, where you can either click the link or enter the number directly into our tracking page. Keep in mind that tracking information may take up to 4 hours to become active in our system, so if you do not see updates right away, please be patient and check back later.
To cancel an order, contact Quantum Fuel Systems customer service at (818) 574-3835 and include your order number along with the reason for cancellation. Keep in mind that orders can only be canceled before they have shipped, so if yours has already gone out, please refer to our return policy for next steps. Our office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays, so if you reach out during the weekend, send an email with your order number and cancellation reason and we will respond the following Monday, or Tuesday if Monday falls on a holiday.
If your Quantum Fuel Systems order is lost in transit, reach out to our customer support team with your order number and any relevant details so we can help track it down. For packages that arrive damaged, report the issue to customer support within 24 hours of delivery and include photos of the damaged items or packaging. Once we review the documentation, we will arrange a replacement, issue a refund, or file a claim with the shipping carrier on your behalf as needed.
Quantum Fuel Systems offers refunds and exchanges within 30 days of purchase, subject to a 15% restocking fee. To qualify, items must be returned in their original condition with all tags and packaging intact, and we cannot accept any item that has made contact with fuel. Quantum Fuel Systems does not collect duties and taxes at checkout. All international orders include a shipping cost, but this only covers transportation from the specified carrier and does not include any taxes or duties imposed when your shipment is imported into the destination country. Customers are solely responsible for paying any duties and taxes associated with their order, and because rates vary by country, we cannot provide estimates. Damaged Order
If you find that the wire on your product is damaged or nicked, you can use a shrink sleeve to cover it and protect the wiring. Heat can be applied using a heat gun to seal the sleeve. Regarding the replacement of parts with those from a different brand (such as a motorcycle fuel pump), please provide specific details of the parts in question to determine compatibility and feasibility.
Should you receive a product with a missing part, please notify us with your order number and a description and photo of what you received. We will promptly send out the missing item to you to rectify the issue. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and strive to fix the error as soon as possible.
Product Specs
To determine if you have the correct fuel injectors for your intake, you need to verify the specifications of your intake manifold. For example, if you have an intake manifold that is designed for ls1/ls6 style long injectors, then you should ensure that the fuel injectors you are considering are compatible with that design. Regardless of the length specification, as long as the type matches (e.g., ls1/ls6 long injectors), you can be assured they are suitable for your application.
Corrugated flex hose lengths are listed on each product page at Quantum Fuel Systems, with options ranging from 100 mm (4 in.) up to 420 mm (16.53 in.). If your fuel pump kit comes with a rubber boot, it typically installs on the bottom half of the fuel pump. However, if your vehicle's fuel pump did not originally have a rubber boot, it's not necessary to use the one included in the kit.

Tips & Troubleshooting

Once we determine the cause of the failure, we will proceed with your warranty claim. This process will require you to provide information about the vehicle and the product installation. Please note, in some cases, customers will be responsible for the shipping cost of their warranty replacement.

Because of the wide range of products we carry, we are unable to provide specific installation instructions for every item, so please refer to your vehicle manual for fuel pump installation and replacement details.
If your vehicle will not start after a fuel pump installation, run through a few checks before reaching out. Make sure all wire connections are tight and secure with no wiggle, confirm all fuel lines are fastened with hose clamps, and inspect those lines for cracks, splits, or pinholes. When inserting the fuel pump into rubber fuel lines or seals, use automotive lubricant or Vaseline to eliminate gaps, and apply the same practice when installing a new fuel pressure regulator. Before starting the engine, turn the ignition key to "on" to prime the fuel system, and listen for the pump spinning and drawing fuel so the system reaches proper pressure at startup. If you do not hear the pump, connect it directly to a 12 volt battery to confirm it spins, since a pump that runs on 12 volt but not in the vehicle indicates a wiring issue. If you have completed all of these checks and the pump still will not run on 12 volt, contact customer service to start a warranty claim, as we ask that these steps be followed before proceeding with a warranty replacement.
If you have purchased a Quantum fuel pump, it comes with a lifetime warranty. For pumps made by other manufacturers, the warranty terms are set by the manufacturer. It’s important to check the listing for specific warranty details on non-Quantum pumps.
